Board Dates 2021 – 2022 Army ROTC Scholarship boards

Here they are, the dates for this summer/fall/winter’s Army ROTC scholarship process and boards. These dates pertain to a student that will be a high school senior in the fall of 2021, graduating in the spring of 2022.

Get a calendar out and start building some reminders and deadlines for yourself. it may seem like these dates are a long way out, but what you don’t see here is all the tasks like interviews and SAT/ACT tests and gathering transcripts that need to be accomplished. Be organized, set goals, and plan ahead and you will be competitive.

The Army ROTC 4-year High school scholarship application website

Same advice as last year…You should complete your application before the board that makes you the most competitive.  I would recommend you try to get in on one of the first two boards.  Waiting till the deadline and being seen by just one board is rarely the best course of action.  If you have a strong file you should be shooting to have your file complete by 1 October and reviewed by the first board. If you aren’t sure, the best thing you can do is contact an enrollment officer or recruiting operations officer (like me) at one of the schools/Army ROTC programs you are interested in joining. In most cases we are more than happy to review your file and help you be the most competitive you can be. Don’t try to do this alone. We are here to help.

In the coming weeks I’ll be posting the 2021 edition of how to get started, as I do every year.

And, if you are a guidance counselor, parent, or know someone who would be interested in one of these scholarships make sure to pass the word.
