Happy Thursday GKB Family! Good morning GKB Family! It’s been an eventful couple of weeks for the Golden Knight Battalion. We welcomed our new cadets, tackled a muddy obstacle course, and celebrated Cadet Brady Moy’s contracting. Happy Wednesday GKB and Family! Welcome back to another MSIV shout-out featuring our very own Cadet Dylan Yeung! He attended Cadet Summer Training in 2nd Regiment and also attended the Army Mountain Warfare School, gaining his Rams Head Device. Congratulations Yeung! Welcome back to the GKB socials for 2026-2027!! Our cadets have had a very eventful and successful summer. Up first on the MSIV Shout-out is Cadet Jacob Dishaw. He attended Cadet Summer Training in 1st Regiment and under Bravo Company. Congratulations Dishaw! On June 4th, 7 Cadets from the GKB participated in the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge, M9 Pistol Qualification range, hosted by the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Cadets fired 10 rounds from a standing, unsupported position at various distances (5m, 10m, and 15m) under timed conditions. The goal is to achieve a minimum of 7 hits to qualify for Bronze, 8 for Silver, and 9 or more for Gold. Congratulations to our newest Army Officers! 🫡 The GKB end-of-semester party is a special event, with many cadets being awarded for their hard work throughout the year or during their time in the GKB! This year, we celebrated award recipients CDT Loughan (Saber Award), CDT Berg (Spirit Award), CDT Rothbaum (Sons of the American Revolution), and many other special teams and individuals. Congratulations on another great year! #rotc #armyrotc #military #army #clarksonuniversity It’s almost Friday, and CDT Riley Loughan is almost a Lieutenant! He will graduate from Clarkson and become an active duty infantry officer. In his free time, he enjoys duck hunting, trout fishing, and backcountry skiing. Congratulations CDT Loughan! #army #armyrotc #military #armyleadership #usa
