Are you interested in watching a fun, high intensity Army ROTC vs. Air Force ROTC basketball game? Come see us March 7th, from 1100-1300in the Clarkson Alumni Gym! This is a free event for all, so bring a friend and come have fun!🏀⭐️ #armyrotc #army #military #basketball #armysport For PT this morning, GKB squads participated in a kettle bell carry and sprint competition, with 1st and 4th squad winning over 2nd and 3rd squad! Great work everyone, and congratulations to the winning teams! 💪 #army #armyrotc #military #fitness #clarksonuniversity Another day, another amazing alumni accomplishment! Yesterday, CPT Heckathorn GKB class of 19’, and 1LT Powlus GKB class of 24’, graduated Airborne school. ⭐️ Congratulations to both, and way to represent! #airborne #armyrotc #rotc #army #military The GKB would like to congratulate alumni LT Lucas Lasher (25’) on his recent graduation from Sapper school! He is an active duty officer in the Army Corps of Engineers, and a great example of leadership and dedication. Great work LT Lasher! #armyrotc #rotc #army #military #sapper It was a frosty 6 mile ruck for LTC Sowder and the GKB cadets last Friday, as they took on the challenge in negative temperatures. In our battalion, we don’t like to let the weather get in the way of our training; we throw on an extra layer and safely push forward! #armyrotc #army #military #northcountry Last week, cadets conducted a squad Raid lab to improve their tactical skills and physical abilities. Despite the harsh weather, they worked hard and made memories! #armyrotc #army #rotc #military #clarkson On the anniversary of his passing, the Golden Knight Battalion honors alumni Lieutenant James D. Lynch, who made the ultimate sacrifice during WWII. Today and every day, we show respect to the heroes that set the stage for the next generation. The GKB will send a team of cadets to the Bataan Memorial Death March to compete this year in his honor. May he rest in eternal peace. #memorial #clarksonuniversity #armyrotc #rotc Snow may fall but GKB morale and determination doesn’t! North Country winters don’t slow us down!❄️ #winter #armyrotc #rotc #military #clarksonuniversity This past weekend, a team of 9 hardworking GKB cadets competed in D-Series at Fort Drum! D-Series is the annual winter challenge where teams push their limits through alpine training and intense competition, commemorating the same winter training event WWII soldiers completed in 1944 to prepare for combat in the mountains of Italy #armyrotc #rotc #army #10thmountaindivision #clarksonuniversity
